Agency History

Citizens Insurance Agency, Inc. was established in 1972. Their first office was located at the Citizens State Bank building. In 1992, they had outgrown the facility and rented office space in the Quam-Plaisted Funeral Home building. In 2002 the agency was sold to Citizens State Bank and in February of 2004, they moved into the new Citizens State Bank of Finley Professional Center addition. Citizens Insurance Agency opened a branch office located in the Citizens State Bank, Cooperstown branch building in November 2002 and in the Citizens State Bank, Northwood branch building in March 2006.
